Triangle Gastroenterology's in office Endoscopy Center is one of the elite few accredited office based procedure centers dedicated solely to gastrointestinal studies.  We currently staff three physicians and our center was designed with quality, safety and convenience in mind.  With the accreditation of an in office endoscopy center, we can allow many patients to come and have their outpatient procedure for simply the price of a specialist co-pay, which is very cost effective for the patient.

Triangle GI offers a spacious waiting area that includes high definition cable TV for our patients and their families, and our two state of the art endoscopy rooms allow the doctor to perform procedures in the most comfortable and efficient manner.  Our seven pre-op and post-op rooms allow maximum patient privacy and comfort.

Triangle GI is fully certified and accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), by Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC), United Health Care (UHC) and Ambulatory Surgical Facilities Licensed by the State of North CarolinaDepartment of Health and Human Services - Division of Facility Services (Medicare/Medicaid)

As we strive to provide patients with the best outpatient endoscopy care, we do quarterly quality improvement studies

At Triangle Gastroenterology we do quarterly quality improvement studies so that we can identify problems and give our patients the best outpatient endoscopy care available.

The center also offers Small Bowel Capsule Endoscopy (M2 Capsule).  This is a test to evaluate small bowel lesions, tumors and unexplained anemia of small bowel origin.  The patient swallows a small capsule camera that saves images on a recorder that the patient wears.  These images are then projected to a computer screen for the physician to review.   A Capsule Endoscopy can only be done if both an EGD and Colonoscopy have been performed within the past two years.
